Hi, I am D'Anne Goldstein.
That weird looking name of mine is pronounced Dee Ann in case you were wondering. However, I will answer to most anything that starts with a D – Diane, Danny, DeeDee, Deanna, or Danae – so feel free to just call me "D".
I was born and raised right here in Colorado and my family has been in this beautiful state for over 100 years, and I have no intention of ever leaving. I also know where to find the most beautiful backdrops for your photos, so if you don't have a place in mind, I can suggest several. If you prefer to have your photos done indoors, I have a traveling photo studio and can meet you at any location.
My love of photography started out when I was just a kid, but it wasn't until 2011 and the birth of my granddaughter that I became serious about learning how to take beautiful images, so I've been training and learning more about photography ever since. It's not just looking through the viewfinder and hoping you get a good picture; it's about knowing how to set up your camera, how to compose the image, and how to make people feel relaxed and happy during their session.
In addition, I have been perfecting my skills at family, wedding, and engagement, photography to include a mix of posed and lifestyle images for every session, especially those with kids. I've raised two girls and now have a granddaughter, so I know just how difficult it can be to get any kid to sit still for a pose. I know that I'm going to be able to get a couple of those poses out of your kiddos, but after that, all bets are off. That's when my grandma comes out and I interact with the kids on a different level; a level where we're going to have fun and discover the world around us.
I also have been working hard on my skills at wedding photography and have been blessed to photograph several weddings at this point in my career. I have a check list of images on my "must capture" questionnaire that I send out to my brides and grooms ahead of time to ensure I get the images you want from this important ceremony.
